Sound Opinions: The Underacheivers – Play That Way (Prod Ronny J)

The Brooklyn rap duo, The Underachivers resurface with “Play That Way” after touring around with their second album,¬†Evermore – The Art of Duality, and prepping for The Smoker’s Club Tour (F***king Cam’ron is headlining!) starting the end of May. Playful lyricism is a staple when it comes to the work UA puts out, and this feels like a good song to come with for people who might not be privy to the previous projects.

These guys have been building for years, Issa Gold and AK flex over the strong production from Ronny J. If you haven’t heard of them, it’s fine, it doesn’t stop them from touring all over the world and moving through festivals with swag only Brooklynites can possess. They said they might do a video, hopefully they can get that done before the tour starts. Did I mention that they dropped it for 4/20, aka the International Stoner Holiday?
