Sound Opinions: Ben Al – 100 Times [Video]

How many times can you keep it 100?

Houston artist Ben Al teamed up with Mr. Tower to make a fun visual for a fun song, “100 Times“. Not fun in the sense where you are playing in a park (the line is funnier after you watch the video) but fun where you have an artist who doesn’t mind just enjoying theirselves on a song without trying to be overly serious and undermining the creativity. The video followed suit by just showing you certain scenes that made you think what the hook really means, but not just throwing it at you. Words literally appear in thin air and I have to say the edits and visual quirks got me to the switch up, which let me hear that Ben has some skills behind that confidence and dope reflective safety vest. His project is on DatPiff if you’re wondering.
