Lafayette Stokely Attacks Lil Uzi’s Joint “Seven Million”

Eventually, you get tired of being looked over.

That’s the theme on new joint  “Seven Million” by Lafayette Stokely, the Southern spitter with New York bars.

A remix of Lil Uzi Vert’s hit, “Seven Million” expands on Stokely’s narrative that he, in fact, is never giving up on his rap dreams despite how much the world is sleeping on him. An interesting flip to the Nard & B/XL + Don Cannon produced track- as the original vibe is a trippy, club banging, rap caviar having flex fest.

When it comes to bars my n***a I been the meanest

I said I was the Heir To The Throne and you didn’t see it.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you just know that it’s Stokely season.

Traditionally maintaining a mellow demeanor over tracks (as seen fairly often on his latest album Life As We Know It), Stokely attacks “Seven Million” with an aggressive air- utilizing vocal inflections we’ve yet to see from him. A dope change of pace for the mc- who is proving to be versatile and feed consumer desire for trap beats- without sacrificing his story telling skills.

This loosie comes as the 7th installment of  Stokely Sundaysa weekly drop of remixes that will make you forget the original.
