Sound Opinions: Flatbush Zombies – Bounce

The time has come. The time for a Flatbush Zombies album is…coming. “Bounce” is a very dialed back, sharp, refined preview of what an album might feel like from the Brooklyn bred rap group. Clean production and a refreshing dose of instrumentation sounds great with their uniquely contrasting voices a.k.a. a dope first single. I don’t mean that in a bad way in the slightest, because when these dudes tone it back, that’s when you need to tune in more. Flexing their talents while speaking on their current mindstates, leaves you smirking at the “Thug Waffle” samples, and thirsty for the upcoming tour and project. The Glorious Dead indeed.
